For the past 3 years, we have had great support from the community, sponsors and spectators. We have been able to continue the SYHO (Signing Youth Hanging Out) program and have seen growth and success.
Sadly, due to the economy and a few changes that we are making to our organization, we will not be doing our annual Signs On the Trail race this year. This was a difficult decision to make because we've had so much fun with you the previous three years. We do, however, look forward to picking up right where we left off and making bigger and better race events in the years to come.
We will still be making T-shirts using the theme, 'Persevere & Don't Give Up'! We are proud of the T-shirts that we've had in the past, and hope that you'll enjoy another shirt to support our cause. We hope that these shirts are a source of inspiration to all those who wear or see them. If you are interested in donating a minimum of $10 we'd be glad to order a T-shirt for you. Many of you have the first three T-shirts. 2007: Be Strong 2008: There Is No Can't, CAN! 2009: ASPIRE, Work To Achieve! Now Donate & Get 2010: Persevere, Don't Give Up!
We need a minimum order of at least 100 T-shirts, so if you want to order one, you can do by emailing us for the link to donate & order (Shirts can be also be ordered via US mail - please email us for details.) The ordering deadline is May 10, 2010, and the shirts will be ready by end of that month. We can ship the shirts to you (Shipping is extra) or you can pick them up at the Deaf Center in Taylorsville.
